Not many families are mentioned multiple times in the Gospel. As far as I know, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus were not martyrs, they did not go out of the country to evangelise, etc, but they are mentioned three times.

• Luke 10: Martha busy at the kitchen while Mary sat at Jesus' feet
• John 11: Death and resurrection of Lazarus
• John 12: Mary wiped Jesus' feet with her hair

Jesus was close to them.

They did what they could for Jesus and his disciples. And Jesus was pleased and remembered them.

I ought not worry about big ambitions for Jesus. Be like him and do what I can for him. He takes care of the rest.
