Who are you?
Whether we realise it or not, we all serve someone or something. The priorities in our lives reveal who or what we worship. The question is, does the subject of our worship know us?
"They said to the evil spirits, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches.” ... But the evil spirit said to them, “I know Jesus, and I know about Paul; but you — who are you?”
The man who had the evil spirit in him attacked them with such violence that he overpowered them all. They ran away from his house, wounded and with their clothes torn off. All the Jews and Gentiles who lived in Ephesus heard about this; they were all filled with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was given greater honour."
(Acts 19.13-17 GNB)
Jesus knows me by name. He loves me and died for me on the cross. He lives and takes me into genuine relationship with him.
Come to Jesus. He waits with open arms.
