John 15 is about vine, branches, and pruning. Pruning from God can be tough. But pruning is necessary.

From experience, I think I prefer for God to prune me earlier than later. It hurts more when my ego has been quite inflated. As the saying goes, the higher we are, the harder we fall.

But only God knows the best timing to prune to achieve his purpose. My role is to stick to the vine and produce.
