Despite living in countries that celebrate Christmas and, supposedly, uphold Christian values, some Christians cannot go to church on Christmas day, because they work. Either due to some compulsory roster or by choice.

In some countries, Christmas day is not a holiday. It is a normal business workday no different from any other workday. Christians have to take a personal leave to be off.

Either way, some Christians do not go to church on Christmas eve nor Christmas day. And some Christians are probably in a war zone - celebrating Christmas as best they can while staying alert.

I suppose the most important thing about Christmas is how I remember Jesus’ birth and what it means in how I live my life.
