Have you ever been in a “good place” in your life only to see it slip away?

I have. “Why couldn’t I stay there?” I wondered.

The “good place” was not always good forever. I was happy when God moved me away from seen dangers, but I was oblivious when he moved me away from unseen dangers.

I did not know it then, but looking back, God was moving me away from unseen danger that was coming to my “good place” at the time. I did not see it - I could not see it, but God did. Again and again.

from seen and unseen dangers.
Please help me sense dangers better
and be obedient to you
even when I cannot see
the unseen dangers.
