For 366 times this year, the earth rotated as usual. It has been rotating every day for thousands of years and the planets have been circling the sun for thousands of years.

Faith acknowledges that this vast and complex universe has been functioning as it has been because a divine being keeps it running, even when faith does not understand how this divine being came to be.

Faith understands the trustworthiness of this divine being through the certainty of the past 366 sunrises and many thousands before that. And trusts for many more to come.
