The city where I sent you (3)
"For two years Paul lived in a place he rented for himself, and there he welcomed all who came to see him. He preached about the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, speaking with all boldness and freedom."
(Acts 28.30-31 GNB)
Paul was awaiting his trial, but not put in a jail. And he had enough autonomy to live his life and continued teaching about Jesus to those who came to see him.
Paul was no longer on any mission trip, but he was evangelising. Rome was the opposite of "the end of the earth", but he was making disciples. Wherever God put him, Paul did what Jesus commanded. And so should I.
“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go, then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptise them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28.18-20 GNB)
