Meaning in the unknown

"[Jesus] is the one through whom God created the universe, the one whom God has chosen to possess all things at the end."

(Hebrews 1.2 GNB)

Many people object to the idea that the universe and life were created by God. Because then they would conclude that means God must also be created and the creator was also created. On and on.

Nobody can prove God created the universe AND nobody can prove he did not. (Listen to Tim Keller's Questioning Christianity old podcast.)

This is unknowable. I can know for sure only when I am dead. Either I find out there is afterlife or I cease to exist the moment I die. Although unknowable now, it will be too late to change my mind when I am dead. I would not be able to, since - you know - I am dead.

The question is: what do I do with this unknowable unknown?

Although it is possible to be wrong, I chose to accept this creator exists and this creator is the God of the Bible. And so I find meaning for my life.
