“You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

A street light is turned off during the day and only turned on around sunset through sunrise. Light is useful when it is dark.

It is good for Christians to fellowship or work with other Christians, but I cannot forget that I need to be light and light needs to be placed in dark environments to make the environments less dark.

And when my light does not shine, then I am no longer serving my purpose as light.
