Taking care of a loved one who has dementia is tough emotionally and also, frequently, physically and financially. The caregivers also need faith.

It is sad to see the deterioration and it can be emotionally tiring to handle. Physically there are extra things that are needed to watch for the wellbeing of the loved one. All these while the caregivers also deal with whatever challenges they may be facing by themselves.

Why God brings about such a circumstance is frequently a mystery. I do not understand, but I pray that faith will sustain the caregivers to keep on loving and caring.

In some ways, Children of God also behave like people with dementia. And God keeps on loving and caring. He does not abandon his children.
