The possibility of dementia is not limited to the generation older than me. It can happen to me too as I get older. It can be me or it can be someone close who gets dementia. Everybody gets older.

I get impatient around someone who is very forgetful. I will not do well if I live with someone with dementia. But who knows what God has planned for my old age.

Dear God,
please change me to be patient
and loving
to everyone
especially those close to me
