Yes God loves, but he is not Santa Claus. He deserves my utmost gratitude, reverence, and awe.

He is also "a destroying fire". Maybe no literal fire will come down from the sky at the moment of my rebellious act, but that does not mean God does not notice.

I cannot just "click the like button" (like in social media app) when I hear or read God's word and ignore him the rest of the week. He asks for obedience from the bottom of my heart, not a superficial following.
