God's presence (2)
I just finished reading "And Finally" by Henry Marsh, a retired UK neurosurgeon. I enjoyed it very much.
Henry did not believe in after life. And reading his scientific logic, I could sort of understand his perspective. I believe in science. But the more I thought about it, the more I realised Henry was missing something.
The life of faith also involves the presence of God in bad times and in good times - in more ways than one. Definitely unprovable scientifically and yet, despite emotional ups and downs and however it transpires uniquely in each individual, faith can sense God's presence.
Without the leap of faith, I can understand the difficulty for the scientific minds to accept this.
