“Don't be glad when your enemies meet disaster, and don't rejoice when they stumble.”

“But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven.”

For general every day circumstances, why would I even have any enemy in the first place? At school? At work? Are they really enemies or just annoying troublesome people?

My mindset is important. Using hyperbole in describing annoying people would lead to slippery slope.

I ought to be specific and constructive. Then I ought engage in positive manner to de-escalate the situation.

Unfortunately there are circumstances when some group of people actually choose to be enemies. May God help me to act according to his will.
