The process matters
"Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
(Philippians 4.8 NLT)
The end does not justify the means. Even when I have a right "end" in mind, if my means are not honourable nor lovely nor admirable, then I ought not do it.
God expects that I do things according to his way through and through. No "except" nor "but". His way or no way.
The "end" is not the only thing that matters. God can get other believers to accomplish the same "end" for him. The process matters significantly, because he wants me to become more and more like Jesus.
