"Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."

Law's righteousness depends on human's efforts, which fall short. On the other hand, when we follow Jesus like Abraham followed God such that Abraham's faith was counted as righteous by God, so too "we have been made right in God's sight".
