God expects me to strive and keep striving to do his will. But I am imperfect and I cannot reach perfection in my lifetime.

And God knows this. And he granted me undeserved privilege - the certainty of salvation because of my faith in Christ.

"Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory."
