I need to keep reminding myself. While waiting "with eager hope", I ought to focus on this hope. Stop clinging to my own desires and what the world promises, but to focus on who I need to be - befitting of the rights as God's children.

I cannot let anything else compete for my hope. My hope is Jesus and Jesus alone.
