Compromise is often thought of as a compromise on the commands for "do not". Many Christians forget that it is also important to not compromise on the commands for "do". As in "do love God above all else" and "do love my neighbour".

The "do" commands are central to Jesus' teachings - the very definition of being a Jesus follower. I should not compromise on the "do" commands.

please help me shine brightly for you
in faithfully doing what Jesus teaches
