"Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone." (Romans 12.18 NLT)

Many people would not go that far. There is a "line" that we would never let anyone cross. Beyond that line, we set aside God's instruction to "live in peace". We stop doing all we can.

This "line" is like a marker shaped as a circle around me to protect me and my family. And God has been working on me to move that "line". To make the circle smaller and smaller so I can do more and more to live in peace with others.

It is not a comfortable process, but it is God's will. That I do more and more - to the point that I will do all I can.

And God is patient. I am not there yet and I do not know when I will get there.
