Clothe yourself

".. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armour of right living. Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarrelling and jealousy. Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ."

(Romans 13.12-14 NLT)

".. The presence of the Lord Jesus Christ" - in other words, WWJD: What Would Jesus Do.

You and I are all sinners and Jesus did not shut us out. He invited us in and forgave and continues to forgive. He calls you and me to abandon our "dark deeds" and put on "right living".

I fail frequently - at times more spectacular than other times, but Jesus kept inviting and cheering me on. He accepts me.

So I put on my "armour" every morning. Some days it is clean and shiny. At other days, it needs some care and cleaning. But I commit my life to him, so his presence may go with me wherever I go.
