The very rich are thriving. The very poor are struggling. And those in the middle are getting by. (It's not just a current phenomenon; it has always been like this for ages.) But the happiest are not the wealthiest. Financial wealth is not the true measure of God's blessings.

Financial matters aside, if I look carefully, I find that I am exceedingly blessed. And I am thankful to God.

Life is not a competition. She / he who dies with the most wealth is equally dead as anybody else who dies. Legacy is not about how much wealth I leave behind when I die, but how I live for God and how he uses me to bless others - in his way.

Even to realise this much before I die and have time (I think) to change: I am indeed exceedingly blessed.
