There is a long time between the story of the first sin in Eden and the birth of Jesus. If God's purpose is to save mankind, why so long?

And between the time Jesus ascended to heaven and now, maybe not as long, but it has also been a long time.

When will Jesus come back? Nobody knows. Maybe equally long as the gap between Eden and Bethlehem. Maybe longer. Nobody knows.

What counts is that, if tomorrow is the day, how will that change my today?
