God’s way is not the way of the world.

It does not mean I do not need to work hard and try to achieve better. But that I need to put things in perspective and focus on God’s purpose. And focus on God’s vision of what “better” is, not mine nor the world’s.

Some people may become the tallest trees. But becoming the tallest tree is not necessarily God’s plan for me. He wants me to be a useful “tree” for him. And he wants me to be a “tree” that blesses where I am planted.
