And who is “the flock”?

I recently listened in to a discussion and the phrase “proper Christians” was thrown in with conviction. But if I press them on and on, at one point I can find fault with their words or actions. And they will come up with an excuse or an exception. Not sure “proper Christians” is an apt phrase.

Jesus referred to “flock” as in a flock of sheeps. Sheeps do not behave perfectly, no matter how we look at them. But those that belong to the flock are those who listen to the shepherd’s voice.

“They will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd.”
