The most troublesome type of "consumed" is the subtle type, because it is not obvious nor even conscious. It is as if "that is the way it is".

Except that it is not.

There is the world's way and there is the Jesus' way.

In every thing, big or small, I need to be conscious about my assumptions and whether they are truly from God. Life is different when viewed this way. Not always smooth, but this is the path I choose.
