Be beneficent (2)

We want to be wealthy so we can do whatever we want to do in life. And then we find Jesus and surrender our lives to him.

We then have a new mission. We want to do whatever Jesus wants us to do. His desire is our desire.

Jesus does not call me to be wealthy. He blesses me with material possession so I can do his will and channel my blessing to others. Oh how often I forget this.

Dear God
you are the giver of life
in physical body and beyond
with every breath that I take
may I remember
you are the reason
for my existence
