Choose obedience (2)

Do not focus on what God can do or will do through me, if he strengthens me or do miracles through me (Philippians 4.13). Yes he can and may.

But that is not the objective of Jesus' coming to Bethlehem and dying on the cross. The objective is for me to listen to Jesus and obey his words. Daily. All the time.

Do not be concerned with what I can do for Jesus. I ought to be focused on knowing Jesus' words and obeying him.
