Point to the Light

"There came a man commissioned and sent from God, whose name was John. This man came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe [in Christ, the Light] through him. John was not the Light, but came to testify about the Light."

John the Baptist knew well his role was to point to the Light, not to draw people's attention to himself. "So that all might believe in the Light."

When leading people for Christ' sake, keep John's attitude. Be humble such that people are attracted to Christ, not to me.
