Receiving blame

Being on the receiving end of a blame is unpleasant, utterly so when I am not the one who caused the issue. Or at least I think I am not.

But some things cannot be resolved by arguing my way out of it. Me being "right" does not make the problem disappear. It has happened. So might as well be constructive about my part in fixing the problem.

This got me thinking about Jesus. He got a really bad deal - he was sinless but had to die for humanity's sins. He took the blame for me.

At least in my case, receiving blame does not cost me as much as Jesus. And Jesus loves anyway. And so ought I.
