Survival mode
At the workplace, for many Christians, it seems that survival mode takes precedence over Christlikeness. Surviving and getting ahead is more important to them.
Or is it because they do not understand what Christlikeness is supposed to look like in the workplace? Or is because they think it is not relevant?
But Christlikeness - in the workplace or otherwise - is not optional. It is the articulation of following Christ.
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]."
~ Matthew 6.24 AMP
