Who it points to
"You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!"

Strict obedience to the Scriptures will not give me eternal life, if I do not have Jesus. "The Scriptures point to Jesus!" Jesus is the one who gives eternal life.
The heart who follows Jesus will listen to the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit will help me obey. But first thing first - Jesus must be first in my heart.
