Listening to other people's back story is interesting. Understanding the "why" behind what is visible. It makes me connect to the other person in a more personal way.
Similar in my walk with God.
Studying his teachings, praying, and meditating on his teachings is like listening to God's back story. It helps me undertand better the "why" behind what I go through in life. Maybe not fully, but a bit better. This understanding does not make my life easier, but it helps me connect with him and experience his presence first hand. And experiencing him gives me strength to go through today and confidence to face tomorrow.
I want to hear more of his back stories.
