Not as important

Looking back, many things that I used to regard to be very important - and sometimes urgent - to do turn out to be not as important nor urgent as I thought. Back then, I made "sacrifices" on the things I thought less important. In hindsight, some "sacrifices" were not the best decisions as they turn out to be more important in the long run.

I make decisions based on my limited perception at any given time. I have to keep reminding myself on the big picture and on the long term implications. Years from now, will I look back to this moment and still agree? Would I give it the same importance and urgency?

If I would not, then how would I do differently?

please grant me patience and courage
to choose what you regard to be more important
