Hypothetically, I ought to say the same: "I will lay down my life for Jesus." Hypothetically.
If a life-threatening circumstance were to arise, am I confident I will? Hard to say.
Dear God the Father,
please keep it away from me
so I would never face it,
but if it is thy will,
please give me divine strength
not just to live for you,
but also to die for you
