"Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."

Can I trust Jesus, if I do not trust God?
Jesus came from God. If I do not trust God, how can I trust Jesus?
And Jesus speaks only what the Father speaks. If I do not trust Jesus' words, then I do not trust God's words.
Trusting God the Father goes "hand in hand" to trusting Jesus.
