God's glory
[Eli's daughter-in-law, the wife of Phinehas] ".. named the boy Ichabod, explaining, “God's glory has left Israel” — referring to the capture of the Covenant Box and the death of her father-in-law and her husband. “God's glory has left Israel,” she said, “because God's Covenant Box has been captured.”"
~ 1 Samuel 4.12-22 GNB
In those days, the Covenant Box was the representation of God's presence in Israel. It was merely a symbolic gesture, because God never fits in the Covenant Box nor any box.
Where he reveals his glory, there he is.
In my life, does he reveal his glory through me? Is his glory present with me wherever I go?
