Music for good

"And whenever the tormenting spirit from God troubled Saul, David would play the harp. Then Saul would feel better, and the tormenting spirit would go away."

I speculate that this passage is a poetic explanation of what actually happens. It's not like a movie scene where the "tormenting spirit" fought with David's harp or anything like that. Just my guess.

Nonetheless, the impact was clear, David's music had positive outcome.

I like listening to music, too. And I ought to be mindful what I feed my ears to listen to.
