Praying headspace (2)

If prayer is a conversation with God, then it needs to be a two-way communication. It cannot be only me talking and God listening. He talks and I listen. I talk and he answers. Back and forth.

In praying, I need to listen.

On the topic that I am praying to God for, what is he saying back to me? In praying, I am telling God what I would like him to do. But, as importantly, I need to listen to what God wants me to do about the topic.

The desired outcome of prayer is change. Some changes can only be done by God. For other changes, God wants to change me or use me to start the change in others or both.
