First and a half coming

Jesus' coming is typically put into the framework of his first coming and his second coming. Both are foretold and the timing are unknown beforehand.

In between the two major events, Jesus came into my life. I call this his first and a half coming. (It's okay; you can roll your eyes. I am in cheeky mood today.)

His coming into my life was a non-event in the eyes of history, but a major "event" for me. In my case, certainly not foretold but equally unexpected.

He came into my life quietly, unannounced, and unplanned. Like a water current that pulled me slowly and steadily toward the direction that he wants me to go.

Sometimes I tried to swim against the current. And his love and hands would always guide me back. Despite my unworthiness, he is faithfull.

"
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
"

(Psalms 8.3-4 NIV)

If he has not come into your life yet, call on him: "Jesus, I want to know you." And wait. He will come unannounced.
