As I reflect on life lately, I realise that many of my decisions were heavily influenced by at least one of these: fear, envy, and pride. At least one, but sometimes two or three. Subconsciously.

Of course I pray, read God's word, etc. And I want to do God's will. Always. But the undertone of my decision making process is often overshadowed by fear, envy, or pride.

It's the flesh and the Devil working to distract me from God.

Lord,
please give me clarity at all times,
to see you in all things
and not be driven by fear, envy, nor pride.
