The books, the news, and social media defines "success" according to the world view. And it matters not to God.

He views my success through Jesus Christ.

In the end, what matters is where I will end up after I die. Will I go to be with Jesus Christ or not?

I should not measure "success" in years, but in lifetime. To be faithful to Jesus in faith, thoughts, and deeds through the end - this is to be successful.
