People like to draw attention and honour to themselves. In social media or in real life; directly or indirectly. People are conditioned to believe that honour would bring good things to them: fame, fortune, influence, power, etc.

But not Jesus.

“I am not seeking honour for myself. ... If I were to honour myself, that honour would be worth nothing.” (John 8.50,54 GNB)

help me imitate Jesus,
