"Those who think they are standing firm had better be careful that they do not fall. ... Do you know people who are set in their ways and do not want to listen to others? Yet, there is someone in their lives who knows how to approach them to get a message across so these people would listen. This person knows how to get through to them.

God obviously knows how to get through to me. And sometimes, the only way to get through to me is through a loss. Any other way would not leave the same impression.

Painful. Yes. But I understand the lesson.
