"Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

• Wives, submit to your husbands, for that is what you should do as Christians.
• Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Doing something for God is not a public show; it must be sincere from the heart, even when nobody is watching. Even when nobody notices.

Whatever I do, I want to do it for God; not just the professional thing or the big thing, but also the everyday thing and the domestic thing - for those around me.

I want those around me to see God's love through me.
