My upbringing and the environment in which I grew up, along with my past experiences strongly influence my views on my future. If I do not want my future to be like this or that, then I need to do X, Y, Z and be A, B, C. Other people with different past may have different viewpoints on how to influence their future.

Can I swap mine and adopt their viewpoints?

I think it is difficult, but not impossible.

Learning about other people's experiences and approaches to life ought to give me inputs on how to enrich my perspectives, so I am better equipped to face my future.

And I want to filter them through God's perspectives. The Bible is not prescriptive in most cases with respect to modern life, but the principles are always relevant and will stand the test of time.

I ought to stop worrying so much. God cares about me. And he holds my future in his hand.
