The Old Testament describes God's love, his forgiveness when Israel repented from their unfaithfulness, and the relationship's implications to the Israelites. The New Testament describes God's love and forgiveness in Jesus Christ, and the implications to Jesus himself. And through him, the implications to mankind's relationship with God.

Same Love. Same God. And same call to action: trust and obey.

God loves me just as I am. But I cannot experience his love if I do not trust and obey him.
