"“If you hear God's voice today, do not be stubborn, as your ancestors were when they rebelled against God.” Who were the people who heard God's voice and rebelled against him?"

And I ought not forget, every rebellion starts with something small. And a small flame can grow into a big fire.

It is easy to point to other Christians' failings. It is hard to acknowledge my own. I self-talk myself into thinking that I am always wiser and holier than thou, but that is just my selfish opinion. What counts is God's voice.

"Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, and pay no attention to the log in your own eye? How dare you say to your brother, ‘Please, let me take that speck out of your eye,’ when you have a log in your own eye?"

Dear God,
please let me know when I have speck in my eyes
and help me heed your voice humbly
