Praising God feels good; even when things are not going so well, it's doable. Doing good and helping others - those that I am not close with or those that I dislike? Or when it does not please me? Not so fast.

I tend to "forget" this. It is my natural tendency - how my flesh operates.

Dear God,
let sacrifice be my natural response
to please you
and to let your love shine
