Those who do not believe in God treats knowledge like a one dimensional "surface". That is all there is to it. Devout followers of Christ, treat and use knowledge in multi-dimensional ways. Same knowledge can be interpreted or applied differently. Faith adds the additional dimensions.

Aside from faith, something is only at it seems. But faith believes God's plan and purpose works at the same time in a different dimension along with whatever might look on the "surface".

Aside from faith, a dead end situation is clearly an impending doom. But faith believes, if it is God's will, he will provide a way out.

Aside from faith, fortune and power is used to benefit self only. But faith believes God blesses me so I can be a river of blessings to others, instead of hoarding all for me.

The faith that God is at work in my life adds dimensions to my knowledge of a situation. Seeking his will in obedience helps me use my knowledge so I can accomplish his work.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
